Scooper Bowl Hits Boston This Week

6 06 2011

This time the three days in June starts on Tuesday the 7th when City Hall Plaza becomes an ice cream free-for-all. OK, so it’s not free. I was not impressed by the Ben and Jerry’s flavors. The “Late Night Snack” is an ice cream with chocolate covered malt balls (like Whoppers but smaller). Not too many people are actually interested in that, but if you are go an get some. I loved the Ciao Bella flavors and Soco Creamery’s “Espresso Cookie”. Definitely worth a go for this year and it is hot, so there will be a lot of people there. If you have exact change you can get in quicker.

Late night snack actually has chocolate covered potato chips. I had it on free cone day and at the scooper bowl. It’s good, but not amazing. I loved Soco’s and Baskin Robbins’ flavors. I’m not a huge fan of Baskin Robbins, but I was impressed by the new flavors.
