The next time you’re in southern Maine you should stop by Shain’s of Maine ice cream in Sanford (the town next to Wells). They have some pretty amazing ice cream such as the Java Crunch (my mom and I go through 1 quart in a day)! And I believe they are open year round, and they have really great prices too!

I wish you would carry kahlua chip on a regular basis rather than a special for a limited amount of time. Also your coffee chip flavor is good but the chocolate chips are too hard for the ice cream recommend a good quality flaked chocolate instead.

I recently had an indian pudding cone over at Beals here in Portland, Maine. I remember my first taste of that flavor with you at Rota Springs some several years ago. MMmmmMmmmMMmmm tasty!!!

wow, it’s been awhile, but I’ve driven through there a few times in my life and it didn’t even dawn on me that was an ice cream place right there, how did i miss that? Maybe I was too focused on getting to “Swirls & Scoops” which is about 5 minutes away in neighboring Grafton.

it’s always a shame when we lose an ice cream place.

Big Daddy’s North has the best ice cream in the state of Maine. I hate September bc it means BDN closes for the season!

Please, when you come to Cape Cod, check out Polar Cave Ice Cream Parlour, on Route 28 at the Mashpee/Cotuit Town Line. Simply great ice cream with service to match.

They offer the Worlds Smallest Ice Cream Cone for a mere 50 cents.
